MKE 2017 Week 6 – Self love and distractions

“And most of all I will love myself. For when I do I will zealously inspect all things which enter my body, my mind, my soul, and my heart. Never will I overindulge the
requests of my flesh; rather I will cherish my body with cleanliness and moderation. Never will I allow my mind to be attracted to evil and despair, rather I will uplift it
with the knowledge and wisdom of the ages. Never will I allow my soul to become complacent and satisfied, rather I will feed it with meditation and prayer. Never will I allow my heart to become small and bitter, rather I will share it and it will grow and warm the earth.”
Og Mandino ”The Greatest Salesman in the World” Scroll II
Oh, how good it is to read this part of scroll II again for a month, don´t know if it´s just me, yet this is something I need constant reminding of.
I often observe how I am unnecessarily hard on myself, planning to do more than I can actually accomplish in a day and then chastising myself for not measuring up to my own unrealistic expectations and demands. And I don´t think I´m alone in this…
How easy isn´t it to get caught up in the distractions of daily life and temporarily forget about taking care of ourselves?
This reminds me of a story I heard while visiting my Mastermind partner Lance Botha in South Africa early this year and joining him and his wife for Sunday service. Terran, the minister, conveys an anecdote from Martin Luthers life when the reformist had a really busy day in front of him and said (paraphrasing): Today I have so much to do I need to pray at least 3 hours to get everything done!
I think this provides a beautiful reflection of how important it is to allow ourselves the time in silence necessary to get the important work done!

MKE 2017 Week 5 – Practicing patience!

‘Yet, within my allotted time I must practice the art of patience for nature acts never in haste.’
How true this rings for me this week…
Early this summer I got into a real down pour on my way home from work and, my backpack not being as water resistant as I thought it to be, my MacBook Air took in some water and didn’t start.
The guy at the repair shop changed some part and got it working halfheartedly again, yet it was never really back to it’s old self…
So, when I found a used 11” MacBook at a very reasonable price, I decided to order it just to be safe…
Last Saturday I accidentally threw over an open bottle of mineral water and, unfortunately my laptop sat exactly in the way of the flood following.
I’m amazed about my calm reaction to the incident, rather than freak out I just took it easy, dried the MacBook as well as possible and put it out in the hot Cyprus sun the next day (and the following) to hopefully have it dry out and minimize damage.
Anyway, my practice in remaining patient did not end here…
Have you any much longer it takes to do everything on an iPad instead of a computer?
Well, I didn’t either before this event and it has been a remarkable learning experience.
I’m proud and grateful that I got all the really important stuff taken care of, and mainly my presence on social media suffered some.
I just have to appreciate the fact that God has humor and I gotta love irony as the bottle-flip-over happened the day after my replacement laptop had been delivered to my home in Sweden.
I’m just so grateful for Apple’s extraordinary well functioning backup system and the easy with which I could recreate my material after getting back to Stockholm!
Looking forward to being back to normal digital presence and, yes, I learned my lesson – no more fluids next to my laptop ???

MKE 2017 Week 2 – Personal Pivoting Needs

First of all a huge shout-out to all the new members submitting their DMP´s last week (for the non initiated – DMP is short for Definite Major Purpose), I´m so proud of You, happy for You and grateful to You!!!

I firmly believe that what we need to solve most of the challenges we face for humanity and even hour planet are more independent thinkers!
People, like You, who don´t just want to accept the status quo as “how things are” and return back into the mind numbing void of quiet desperation.
People who are prepared to do the work necessary to make a difference in and for themselves by finding their passion and raising their voice help create a ripple effect with an inconceivable impact!

And a big step in the process if finding (or choosing) Your PPN´s (Personal Pivoting Needs) because anything we aspire to achieve must be inline with what is most important to us!

So here they are:

  • True Health
  • Autonomy
  • Spiritual Growth
  • Liberty
  • Recognition for Creative Expression
  • Legacy
  • Helping Others

If You´re not in the course and still want to check if what You´re pursuing in life aligns with the “oxygen of Your soul”, take a look at these seven words and determine which two of them speak most clearly to You. This is not a thinking exercise , You know which ones are right, don´t You?

And here You find a clue to this what the quiet little voice is whispering to You at odd moments, these crazy thoughts that pop up every once in a while and makes You wanna run from them because You don´t know how to deal with them (that´s how it was for me, anyway, and if You´re anything like I was prior to embracing the MKE, I have a hunch that You know what I mean).
These thoughts about achieving something extraordinary, being a hero, making a difference and maybe just to feel comfortable in Your own skin again.

I remember the ecstatic feeling I experienced over five years ago when I first learned about the concept PPN´s and that they are not only natural but necessary to live a full and complete life.
Don´t know about You, yet the way I was raised having deep personal needs seemed almost a little selfish, even dirty in some way. On a subconscious level I always felt that for me to want something, someone else would have to lack it…

And I have to admit it took some time to overcome that old programming and not only be ok with having needs, but even more so having them fulfilled. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the beauty of this entire adventure we call life – just knowing what were after and thinking about it consciously, talking about it with people who support us (don´t mention Your dreams to negative people, that won´t help…), and slowly but surely anchor it on a subconscious level replaces the old program and moves us effortlessly in the direction of our dreams.

That´s when these small inexplicable things happen that people who are doing the work are always talking about at some point, those things were we think “what are the odds???”.
Well, I can tell You the odds – if You do the work, define what Your purpose is, repeat it often, read the stuff we ask You to read and complete the exercises, then, and only then, the odds of You getting what You want is just about 100%!

How do I know?

Because that´s what the experience is designed and developed to do, this is what it´s done and is doing for me and countless others. Actually, that´s how it evolved!!!

So, if You are not already excited – get some burn, baby, if You´re anywhere close to the place I was when I started this journey, the best thing that ever happened to You is about to take place!

I wouldn´t be here if it was anything less!!!

Mahalo, I appreciate You!

Peace // Claes

MKE 2017 Week 1 – Here we go again

First week – members starting to chip of years of cement, educing the marvelously special  individual soul that lies inside them, still dormant and waiting to be released and offer it´s unique gifts to the world!

First week – members taking their first, tiny, sometimes insecure or even wobbly steps in the direction of finding their voice and expressing their truth.

First week – guides getting to take the first look at the members dreams, experiencing the beauty and love in observing the liberation of one more self directed thinker who has been locked up far to long by the expectations of others, teachings of the school system and perceived rules of society.

Needless to say – I´m excited!!!

I remember three years ago when I was starting the Master Key journey and got accepted as a member of the program…. Oh, was there some trials and tribulations already…

  • How should I find the time to read THREE time per day???
  • What??? Webinar at 11PM in my time zone going on for 2-3 hours??? Sundays???
  • Writing a blog??? How does that work??? What shall I write about???
  • And then just the unsure feeling about what I would find when I started to chip off that cement

I mean, at least I know what my life was like at the time…

And it wasn´t bad 😉

On top of everything else I´m a pretty hard core yellow and getting organized is not one of my many talents – I knew even back then, that a lot of the requirements would take longer for me than many others just because I have so much difficulty concentrating and staying with the task at hand.

And, of course, “knowing” that, I manifested it…

I have no idea how many times I had to start over reading some of the paragraphs in the books, I have no idea how many hours I put into the course (and that´s true – measuring isn´t one of my talents either).

Yet what I know now is that if I had known back then I how much effort it would take, I might have backed off…

So, how´s that for encouraging new members??? 😀

Well, I´m still here, right? 😉

Because it happened!!! Somehow I got that thing with PPN´s and DMP sorted out, the reading became a habit (and I stick with it every morning since, even when the course is not running), the SIT went from struggle, to manageable, to effortless, to enjoyable, and now it´s kinda the best time of the day for me.

Or better yet, the days when I sit shorter or not at all (yes it happens, very seldom, but it happens) always turn out less smooth, effortless and miraculous than the ones when I put in the time in the morning!

If You´re struggling – hang in there, it only gets easier with time!

If You´re doubting Your ability – trust the team, the process and Your guide, we´ve been there!

If You fall asleep during the sit – that´s ok, it´s a training wheel starting out!

If You don´t know what to write in Your DMP – trust Your heart to reveal its deepest desires i time!

Last but not least…

I have no idea what my life would have looked like had I quit the course at any of the many times I contemplated doing it, yet what I do know is what this experience has given me and continues to give me. And that´s the main reason I write this for You to read – and I literally have tears in my eyes typing, that too being a result of the MKE, I´m sooo more in touch with my emotions than before!

  1. I would have missed out on a lot of great people I´ve met through the course (I´m not mentioning names here, You all know who You are)
  2. I wouldn´t have experienced one of the members of my first tribe as a guide manifest her number 1 choice university using the Master Key
  3. I would probably not have been to Kauai that many times 😉
  4. I would probably still live in fear instead of faith
  5. I would probably not live a life that´s sooo much better than in my wildest dreams when I wrote that first week draft in 2014

I could go on and on and on about the blessings I received and the small (and huge) inexplicable things that happened and are happening on a daily basis as a result of this course.

Go for it – give it Your best and put in the work. The result will blow You away and boggle Your mind like nothing before in Your life!

And should You, at any point, feel that it really does not work. That You just have to quit for this, that or any other reason…

Wait another second, minute, day, week or month – because on thing I learned years ago is:

“You can always quit – so why quit now???”

You are so worthy of Your dream and the world is so worthy of Your gift!!!

Lets work together to bring it to the world <3 <3 <3

I want You, a few years from now, to write a post while moved to tears by the amazing people starting on their journey to greatness. Not greatness in the eyes of the world, but in the only way that really matters, their own – I´m so happy for You!!!

I´m grateful for You reading this post, please share it with people You know who might like it or benefit from it and leave a comment below to let me know what You think!

Mahalo, I appreciate You!
