MKE 2018, Week 4.2 – Guest Blogger Per-Olof Söderblom

This week meet my Tribe member from Sweden, Per-Olof!

Enjoy:

To subdue one habit with another. Change habits. Make new patterns. This week have been challenging. I am increasing the effort to overcome my resistance. I am moving myself forward. I have increased my activities. I have changed my thoughts. A little. It is a step in the right direction. This means also that I have been able to change my emotional mode consciously. I feel good about that.

In this weeks webinar we could see (400 of us doing this Master Key Experience and we all post blogs) how our thoughts and feelings create peptides in our brain. To make it more simple I just call it a chemical reaction. These peptides need to be fed with the same signals and chemicals that created them.

If I have a pattern, let us say that I feel fear, anger, sadness, nervous or any emotional state, every day. I have done this for the last 30 years. Then I need this flush of emotions to calm down. Even if it is pain in my body. If I am used to have it, my subconscious mind will create new pain for me. Because I believe it belongs to me. If I have had pain in my body for as long as I can remember then it have become a part of my identity. Like a living entity. So if the pain level is getting lower my subconscious will create new pain for me so that I can calm down. I feel secure with it. Now the situation is normal I tell myself. Pain is there. Everything is normal. I am familiar with it.

Now I talked about pain as an example. I could replace it with fear or any other feeling that in my opinion has a depressing effect on the body. My identity is created of this recognition and memory. This could be feelings, actions and patterns creating our life.

I experience that when I challenge it, it feels threatened and tries even stronger to manifest itself. Is it necessary to replace one pain with another ? Whats the point with this ? There is no point with it. No one at all. The point is to replace the fear, pain, anger, sorrow and so on with purpose, satisfaction, passion, joy, happiness, love and beauty. That must be the recognition. To create and build new bioneuorological pathways.

I have lived my life reactive based on fear. A fearbased reactive life. I take it all in here and now. I inhale it and suck it down into the fat of my bone marrow. It has been there all my life so it is necessary to go there. I respect it. It is powerful. There is a reason for it being there. Need to respect that. I accept and understand. Everything has an end.

There is a big important difference now, the new Me rejects this ! ! ! My new Me embrace my old blueprint, takes a firm grip, use all my powers and strength and throw it out. Get out ! ! !

Time to celebrate

The old patterns and memories left some energy in my body even I threw them out. They are not stupid. I need to repeat this over and over again. I know.

My first steps are careful. Little unsecure. Other memories comes up to surface. I adapt quickly. In this memory I am not connected to fear. The older memories helps me to walk with confidence. I remember now.

I went down to Subby, my horse. We went out for a walk. This week we have been walking every day. I feel better and Subby too. A little more confident. Our breathing capacity is increasing. We want to walk daily now. Our connection is getting stronger. There are moments when we look at each other and feel connected. We are not yet ready to ride. We made a try a few weeks ago and I almost fell off.

We both need to be in better condition before I sit up and ride Subby. This walks is good exercise for us. Our bodys and abilitys are getting stronger. Sometimes I get a bit withdrawn, introvert and lose the presence.

When I look up I find that Subby have left the path and walked into the forest where the terrain makes the walk difficult. It also happens that I find us in a marsh where we get lost from our pathway. It takes time and effort to find our way back to the path in that moments. It is a struggle when it happens. We exercise this now.

We need to keep ourselves more effortless on the path before it is time for a ride. It happens more often now that we are looking at the horizon at the same time.

Today we kept us on the path. I feel satisfied about that. Subby like it too. It feels important because we relax, our steps are easier, we move smoother. My thoughts get clearer. Subby nods to me, he is pleased with it. Now we are back home again. It was a good day. Time to rest and we are just waiting for our walk tomorrow.

MKE 2017 Week 7.2 – Guest Blogger Jo Ann Spearmon

Please let me introduce you to one more of my tribe members, here´s Jo Ann´s post for week 7. Check out her blog at: https://joannsblogweb.wordpress.com/

Peace // C

Well, I have to tell you that this week’s assignment of not having any negative thoughts for 7 consecutive days has been quite interesting. I’m at Day 1. Don’t ask why as I’m sure you can figure it out. I’m determined to keep it positive, so I recognize where I need to improve and will keep moving forward. This whole experience has taught me the importance of my thoughts and words and being committed to doing what I say I’m going to do.

The challenges I’ve been faced with are stimulating my creative mind and I’m figuring out ways to either deal with them positively or ways around them. My Mantra is “Keep Moving Forward.” My DMP has been cleared-Yeah! so I’m well on my way.

I’m going to stop here so I can complete Day 1 and smile at the end of it. Have an awesome weekend everyone.

Holy Shit!!! Week 5 has hit with the power of Zeus. And it just keeps coming. (Perhaps its more like Poseidon, coming like a Tsunami that just won’t quit?).

Emerson’s essay on Compensation contains a lifetime of learning potential. Why is this not taught in schools instead of how the Hudson’s Bay company traded fur hats for coal (or, however the hell that went down)!

Admittedly, I’ve been through the essay a couple of times now, and my next trip through will be with dictionary in hand, as some of the language is lost in the de-evolution of English competence. I am so excited to dive into this further, parse the wisdom, meditate, evaluate, ponder, and let this flow through my consciousness. I would like to do that now please, but apparently “I must practice the art of patience for nature acts never in haste“. Damn you nature!!

There are so many aspects to Week 5 that I would love to address, and over time I shall.

Cause and effect, means and ends, seed and fruit, cannot be severed; for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end preexists in the means, the fruit in the seed.

Then there can be enlargement, and the man of to-day scarcely recognizes the man of yesterday. And such should be the outward biography of man in time, a putting off of dead circumstances day by day, as he renews his raiment day by day.

Man’s the elm, and Wealth the vine; – An Elm is a fruitless tree, whilst a vine grows many fruit. But if the vine lay across the ground, the fruit it bears is rotten. If the vine is tightly woven to the tree, it bears fruit upon itself, as well as the elm.

But where to begin for today? For no good reason, other than the topic happens to be current in my thoughts, I was captured by Emerson’s assertion;

“Our strength grows out of our weakness. The indignation which arms itself with secret forces does not awaken until we are pricked and stung and sorely assailed. A great man is always willing to be little. Whilst he sits on the cushion of advantages, he goes to sleep. When he is pushed, tormented, defeated, he has a chance to learn something; he has been put on his wits, on his manhood; he has gained facts; learns his ignorance; is cured of the insanity of conceit; has got moderation and real skill. The wise man throws himself on the side of his assailants. It is more his interest than it is theirs to find his weak point. The wound cicatrizes and falls off from him like a dead skin, and when the would triumph, lo! he has passed on invulnerable. Blame is safer than praise.”

Our power lies within this Polarity. The fact that within every weakness lies our strength. The whole contains the part, and each part contains the whole.

Years ago, I read a book called the Holographic Universe. It suggests the notion that the entire Universe (read- Reality) is actually nothing more than a Hologram. It’s a concept worth studying in it’s own right. But I borrow from this for a moment, to illustrate a reality I was not aware of. Holograms (yes… they are real things, and not just reserved for Mark’s Holodecks), are a 3D image or photographs. They have some very unique properties.

Hologram

From the book, the Holographic Universe (Michael Talbot);

” If a piece of holographic film containing the image of an apple is cut in half and then illuminated by laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the Apple! Even if the halves are divided again and again an entire Apple can still be reconstructed from each small portion of the film (although the images will get hazier as the portions get smaller). Unlike normal photographs, every small fragment of a piece of holographic film contains all the information recorded in the whole.”

There is no separating the part from the whole. They are one. And what we emanate in our lives is not a result of our ability to sever the part from the whole, but more from what we allow to flow through our Solar Plexis. We earn no credit for developing it. It was never, is not, and never will be, ours to create.

5-20 : “It is the benignant force which decrees primal creation. It thrills down from the Divine, direct into every created being. It originates life, which the physical scientist has not done, nor ever can do. It stands out among all the forces supreme, unapproachable. No human heredity can approach it. No human heredity measures up to it.”

EVERY CREATED BEING. Neither heredity nor evolution grants us greater access to it. It’s an energy that flows. All we are capable of doing is either blocking, or unblocking it.

5-25 : “This power is from within, but we cannot receive it unless we give it. Use is the condition upon which we hold this inheritance. We are each of us but the channel through which Omnipotent power is being differentiated into form; unless we give, the channel is obstructed and we can receive no more.”

Weoponizing wisdom granted to us from the Omnipotent is akin to cutting off a piece of the hologram for our own use. You are left with nothing more grand, but only a faded version of truth. Your loss.

You could not have achieved the wisdom without the weakness. They are fruit and seed. To abhor one is to deny the other.

ZenoZeno of Elea is considered to be the founder of Stoic Philosophy. As a young man, a merchant, he found himself shipwrecked, and stranded in the city of Athens in the year 303BCE. It was while he was there, that he came across Xenophons’ Memorabilia. From these writings, he was so impressed by the character of Socrates, that he abandoned his former life as a merchant, and made the study of Philosophy his only interest. He has been quoted as saying;

“I made a prosperous voyage when I was shipwrecked.”

Belittle not the hard times, the challenges, the weaknesses. Neither those of your own, nor those of others. They are part of the journey. You deserve neither the blame for these, nor the credit for their counterparts. You have one role… find the courage to face your fear, and let them flow.

Fear of failure.

Fear of being like everyone else.

Fear of shame.

Fear of poor health.

Unblock the energy. Let Omnipotence flow, and do not try to claim it. Water parted by your hand comes together behind it. Bask in it… but do not own it.

“Sit down before fact like a little child, and be prepared to give up every preconceived notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss Nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.” … T. H. Huxley

WEEK 4 MASTER KEY EXPERIENCE + building the dream

What I am liking the most about the Master Key is that it’s giving me a framework for diligent effort toward concepts that I have understood and practiced on some level my whole life, but never really read about on paper.

I may not be the most typcial case, #1 I married my high school sweetheart and I just reminded him last night that I remember a feeling of actual energy that connected us at the first party we were at together. We have remained connected since 1993 and now have 3 kids, living in NYC (soon to be the Upper Delaware Scenic Area in NY State!). And #2 I was also just telling a friend this story this week who has known me for 15 years and didn’t realize this: my original parents were divorced when I was 8 years old (but stayed in close proximity and I visited with my dad every weekend), each underwent personal transformation–after my mom got remarried and then found her way, and my dad quit drinking cold turkey–they were remarried to each other again when I was in 9th grade, 6 years after the divorce!

This Master Key experience for me is about piecing all of these things together and trying to understand what are the pivotal experienes that have made me who I am. I have always been able to think something really intentionally and then make it happen. There are at least 5 big times in my life I can recall this–that will be for a future post!

Side note: tons of conicidences continue to happen. This morning I was walking to meet a friend and thought to myself that I wished I had grabbed a tissue for my pocket, I look down not 1 minute later and there is a neatly rolled up piece of paper towel in the middle of the sidewalk. Not that I was desperate enough to pick it up, but I have to say that’s the most immediate manifestation I have ever realized!

But for now, what I find interesting is that just prior to starting Master Key, I signed up to be a trainer for my MLM team’s Wednesday Wisdom talks. We had to choose topics, mine is tonight, and I kid you not, I chose this topic: “Setting Good Intention: Goals & Manifesting what we want in Life & Business”.

This is crazy for me to read right now, but I just found the email I wrote on Sept 13th:

~~~~~~~
Brooke,
I’m in Grand Rapids airport heading home!!
I would love to talk about setting intention for a goal and manifesting what we want in life and business. The 3rd week or 4th week in October are good for me if that works.
THANK YOU & much LOVE!!
Jen Porter
~~~~~~~

Then I just searched in my inbox and it was a Sept 19th email from Mark J. that got me to watch the intro videos. This was his subject line: I’m Calling You Out… and Up [Especially Skeptics] and he started out saying he was just getting back in after walking the dogs.

And the rest is history as it currently unfolds!

To backtrack on the timeline a bit more, this is what I now think inspired my email to Brooke for my training topic (though honestly I never thought about talking to anyone about the power I was seeing take shape from mental function): The Shaklee Global Conference in Atlanta was Aug 9-13 and had the theme “Breakthrough”; we had an amazing group board breaking with Brian Biro. Knowing we were heading into a powerful experience, as my husband, kids and I were driving into Atlanta on Aug 9th, I drew a picture of the country place we were aiming for. Having already seen a few places but nothing having “clicked” yet, we wrote down what the main items were: 50+ acres, house, barn, shop, pool. I never showed it to my husband, but then it was Aug 26th that we saw the house and property that we are now in the process of buying. It has 66 acres, a renovated farm house, garage, shop, pool and 4 more outbuildings. When I showed my husband on August 26th the picture that I had drawn Aug 9th as we were heading into Atlanta, he thought I had just drawn it, and didn’t realize it was our joint vision that we wrote down two weeks before. The dream is taking shape!

These are my most favorite Master Key concepts so far:

1. Thought–>Action
2. Golden Buddah methaphor
3. What you are shouts so loud I can hardly hear you!
4. On the Hero’s Journey, we are heralded into the unknown

And from Haanel, 4:13 this week: Wow! “…many men and women have found to their sorrow that it is easier to control a kingdom than to control themselves.” It really strikes me and another conincidence? 413 is my birthday and lucky number!

The 15-minute sit is so powerful and it’s my new homework for everyone I meet who wants to make change in their life, or just be happier.

Thank you all for reading!

p.s. Just left the house with my kids to buy an ice cream from the Mister Tasty truck with their piggy bank coin savings, and as I was saying we were heading out for ice cream, our very sweet older neighbor Lucy was at the elevator, heard me and handed the kids 3 fudge ice pops! Then as we left the building, the bag of coins spilled and the ice cream truck drove away. We wouldn’t have made it to the the truck in time, but Lucy intervened to provide what we were seeking at just the right moment.
